Made in 2004. This is a small piece of bead and sequin embroidery on felt that I did for a collaborative book project exploring art as a means for coping with grief. The piece is dedicated to my mother, whom I lost in the summer of 2001.
Actual size is 3 inches by 4 1/2 inches, and in real life the corners are square, I just can't get it to scan that way -- it won't lie flat on the scanner beads because of the polymer cabochon.
